Excessive humidity on board is a problem we are all familiar with.
The optimal level of humidity in a space is between 45-65%: this is the perfect rate for the well-being and health of human beings as well as for the environment and the objects that surround us.
In addition to worsening the general quality of the air, humidity causes mold, mites and odors to appear which can even be harmful to health: nothing worse on a boat.
The humidity level can vary a lot in different places and obviously a boat, in winter and in summer, is a place where humidity can become excessive. ABSODRY has been designed to lower humidity naturally, within the optimal range.
Arrived in the right range, the process stops; if the humidity rises, the process starts again.
The passive salt crystal dehumidifier, as an alternative to the more powerful electric ones, is the most common for solving limited problems related to humidity.

Consisting of a two-level tray that houses the bag of salt crystals and the water attracted by them which is collected by gravity in the base. ABSODRY Classic works by exploiting the absorbent capacity of the salts and guarantees satisfactory results if used by correctly calculating the cubic meters of coverage: 35 cubic metres.
ABSODRY Classic should be considered as an excellent preventive solution for the formation of mould, not a curative solution for a situation that is now compromised to excess: for this you need to use professional electric machines and probably put the boat on dry land for a certain period.
The salt crystals of ABSODRY Classic have a life span that ranges from 1 to 3 months depending on the cubic meters of exposure and humidity: when the salts are discharged they need to be replaced.
This is why we offer the ABSODRY Classic Kit, consisting of the tray and its 400 g dose of salts + the pack of 3 refills of 400 g doses. This ensures coverage for 4 to 12 months.
