A special First Aid kit to keep on board? Of course, because we are alone at sea and we must always be able to intervene efficiently.
We present Medical Bag, the first aid bag designed to be not only compliant with the law, but useful!
Prepared by Umberto Verna, an internationally recognized expert and consultant in sea safety, it contains a selection of the most suitable materials for prompt intervention and for use even by non-experts.
In fact, on board it may happen that it is the captain or even a doctor who is injured, and consequently it will have to be a "non-expert" to intervene in an emergency.
The content of Medical Bag is "beyond the law", the result of experiences and statistics collected on cases that actually occurred in pleasure craft.
Medical Bag is basically compliant with:
the Italian legislation shown in table A (although for pleasure craft sailing beyond 12 miles without seafarers enlisted on board table D "would suffice") of the Ministerial Decree n.279 of 28 May.

The French regulation reported in Annex 224-0.A.8 for units sailing beyond 200 miles from the coast.
Medicines are excluded because the law no longer allows them to be freely sold, but our Medical Bag provides useful information on what to buy and how to stow it, also taking into account any instructions from a doctor on the ground heard via radio contact.
