The EXTRA line for the treatment of teak decks

Teak 1 (phase 1)

Teak 2 (phase 2)

Clear Oil (phase 3)

Amber Oil (Option phase 3)
From the historic Spanish house of products for the maintenance and treatment of yachts Sadira, we present the innovative treatment line for teak decks.
Teak is a wood rich in oleoresin, a natural oil, and for this reason it is very resistant to bad weather, salty air and accidental blows. But over time even the best teak (and there are different qualities) loses its oil and gradually becomes grey: cracks appear which will become strips, the wood dries up until splinters emerge.
Contrary to what many lovers of the gray color that emerges over time say, most of the teak decks found on boats today indisputably require good annual maintenance.
Our Sadira Line for teak is totally eco-friendly and natural, and includes three successive treatments (Phase 3 with two options):
1. Clean (Teak 1): a powder product (1 pack of 2 litres) to be distributed evenly on the well-wet surface of the teak and leave to take effect. It is not necessary to brush and after 3-5 minutes (depending on the conditions of the part to be cleaned) rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
2. Reviving (Teak 2): used to obtain an optimal result by restoring the teak to its original golden brown by removing the effects caused by salt and bad weather. Phase 2 is in a concentrated solution (1-litre package): after wetting the surface abundantly, dilute it in water and spread it, leave it to act for about 5 minutes and then rinse with an abundant stream of water.
3. Nourish and Protect (phase3): this phase is necessary to restore the oleoresins lost over time to the teak and therefore protect it more by nourishing it.
Sadira Phase 3 Natural Oil (1 liter pack) respects the natural color of the teak. It is applied with a sponge or brush following the grain of the wood and left to dry: if necessary, a second coat can be applied or touched up.
Alternatively - recommended for the winter period - the Amber Sadira Natural Oil: its light color protects the teak more. We do not recommend it for summer use as the high solar heating given by the darker color of the wood would make it difficult to walk on with bare feet.
