ULTRA SWIVEL
The self-straightening Swivel connecting the anchor to its chain
ULTRA Swivel, manufactured by Ultra Marine, is a standard adaptable swivel connecting any type of anchor to its chain.
Created to support Ultra Anchor's exceptional features, ULTRA Swivel is certified to withstand a superior breakage load to even the chain's resistance capacity to which it is connected.
It has a number of patents, and despite its compact size is able to automatically rise the anchor in the right position if it come upside-down to the bow roller.
Built in two AISI 316 L steel single blocks, cold pressed, not by fusion, it is safe and performs in a consistently stable way over time.
Pleasing to the eye and highly efficient, the articulated rotating hinge pivot head, allows the chain to move at 30° in every direction, so helping the anchor position itself correctly on the sea bottom.
But when it is drawn up, and thanks to the exclusively patented straightening flipping nub and to the flipping bridge (see the technical design), it automatically rotates the anchor neatly into the correct position inside its bow roller.
Only a few centimetre long, thanks to its design, Ultra Swivel is efficient, safe and has a higher breakage load capacity than its own chain to which it is connected. Each Ultra Swivel is engraved with its breakage load capacity.
The straightening function is standard and can be adapted to all fixed fluke anchors such as Ultra, Delta, Bruce, CQR and so forth..
