Our F&B Yachting Certification extends to a limited number of products we've chosen from our catalogue, based on their superior quality, exceptional features, the tests we ran and observed, as well as all the positive feedback our clients gave us over the years.
Our Certification offers more extra special guarantees than are normally offered by standard legislation or norms by single manufacturers, and this only applies to articles we sell to final customers directly, not to shipyards, shops or other professional establishments.
- Top-Quality Guarantee: Applied to quality articles we guarantee as being the best on the market to date offering the best value-for-money. Thanks to the high demand for these articles, we do our best to offer value-for-money prices by keeping our own profit margins down within a certain minimum limit in the spirit of fair trade.
- Fully satisfied or your money back guarantee: within a certain time scale that varies according to the nature of the purchased article, we offer a 'fully satisfied or your money back guarantee' providing the articles are returned to us whole and in good condition (neither worn out or broken). Customers who are dissatisfied will receive a full refund for the full sum they paid if they make a claim within the agreed time limits (excluding delivery costs, cash on delivery, or any other fees or tariffs). This guarantee only applies to standard items, so it is not applicable to custom made products, or non-standard sizes, formats, or items made of special materials. (the difference between 'standard' and 'special' is defined for each item).
- Unlimited after-sales assistance guarantee: Except for bank holidays or official holidays, F&B Yachting guarantees after-sales assistance beyond current working norms and until the end-cycle of the product. Our call-out fees or cost of repairs can vary from item to item, according to laws or manufacturers guarantees, essentially we offer a fast and free online or phone after-sales care service.
- Safe and sound product swapping guarantee: Should you decide to change items once you already bought one of our certified products, change model, change to a bigger or smaller size or another version of the same item, we are happy to take it back, re-evaluate it at a price that will allow us to sell it again, so we can buffer costs of the exchange. This guarantee is valid - see above - only for standard products that clearly haven't been damaged or worn out (not applicable for Cromox chains made by Waelder). Depending on the type of the product, this guarantee might not be applicable if the original items are no longer manufactured and new models have come out, as original items might not have the same value on the current market.The decision to exchange an item will be carefully considered after we have assessed the product in question and calculated all costs.
We award our certification automatically but only for items purchased directly from us (please keep our invoice as proof). Regarding any products bought through another retailer - though still distributed by us – we will act according to current regulations and norms only.
