The problem of anchoring in areas with rocks, catenaries or cables is known to all...
To avoid the problems of the anchor running aground we often use an "improvised" tripping line and a fender.
Consequently the length of the line is never adequate to the sea-bottom depht and the rope is often too big…
We therefore present a simple, innovative and economical solution: the Anchor Buoy.
It is a small buoy with its line to be attached to the diamond of its anchor and equipped with a simple internal counterweight system in order to self-regulate on the depth (from 4 to 10 metres) and thus always remain vertical to the anchor.
Therefore:
1. Anchor Buoy will indicate the exact position of the anchor preventing others from threading their chain on your anchor chain.
2. In case your anchor gets stuck, it will act as a perfect grippial allowing you to haul it upside down using the supplied line.
If your anchor still remain stocked into a rock,
Anchor Buoy would allow it to find the exact point in order to abandon it and return later to retrieve it (with a diver...)..
Anchor Buoy is light and small in size and is therefore easy to stow and always ready to use.
It is also equipped with a reflective tape (SOLAS approved) which allows you to easily identify the buoy and therefore the position of the anchor even at night.
The grippy that self-adjusts according to the depth, thanks to its lead counterweight, ensures a very easy use. Anchor Buoy is constructed from heavy duty HDPE.
