The unromantic, very not-ecological and certainly annoying habit on a sailing boat is to turn-on the engine or generator to recharge the batteries.

Today we have a solution to offer you to deal with this bad habit, and it's called Remoran Wave 3.

We are talking about the first drag hydro-generator created for cruising: it is armed on the transom and, when sailing, it is lowered into the sea.

Wave 3 sits there silent and almost friction-less, and discreetly does its job by continuously charging the batteries and allowing us to enjoy sailing to the fullest!

The advantages:

Remoran Wave 3 starts generating electricity at just 3 knots of speed, making it suitable even for smaller boats and for days with little wind and low speeds.
Unlike solar panels, it works day and night, as well as on overcast days.
Unlike wind generators. Remoran Wave 3 is silent, has no impact on the boat, loads even with little wind and is indifferent to the apparent wind (therefore to the speed): it is enough for the boat to exceed 3 knots.
It is simply suitable for all sailing boats

Models and system:

Remoran Wave 3 is offered in two models:

GS for optimal speeds of 3 to 10 knots and a maximum speed of 12 knots
GD for optimal speeds from 5 to 15 knots and maximum speed of 20 knots

Both models are supplied with the Remoran 300W Charger.

It is the intelligent charger designed specifically to work together with Wave 3 hydro-generators: it is in fact the real heart of the system.

Remoran 300W convert the three-phase alternating current coming out of the generator. into direct current voltage suitable for batteries. It provides automatic detection of battery voltage (12V/24V), conducts intelligent charging with a battery maintenance algorithm, has LED indicators for charging states and error reporting.

VIA BLUETOOTH CONNECTION - provides all the information on the charging process that can be viewed with our App.
